During 2008/09 we will:

• Report environmental performance to the Board via the SS&CR Committee on a six-monthly basis;

• Review our environmental principles and our approach to water and biodiversity management;

• Continue to rollout Taking a Lead with Life Guard, Making a Difference with Life Guard and the HSE component of leadership training which is designed to enhance leadership skills across the business;

• Undertake independent HSE audits of all new construction projects;

• Undertake independent HSE audits of all new business acquisitions operated by AGL;

• Undertake independent HSE systems audits of all existing business areas;

• Review the use of recycled office copy paper for all offices;

• Identify an office paper use reduction target;

• Review and further improve our waste and recycling facilities at our Eastwood, Brisbane and new North Sydney offices;

• Review the fuel efficiency of our vehicle fleet;

• Assess the greenhouse rating of our offices;

• Offset 100% of greenhouse emissions from office electricity use; and

• Offset 100% of vehicle fleet greenhouse gas emissions.
